Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2015 at Gandhinagar Gujarat India - Dates Declared in January

Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2015 this year is going to be organized in Gandhinagar Gujarat India. This event is celebrated to memorize and pay respect to Mahatma Gandhi for his struggle for freedom of India. Last year the event was organized at New Delhi but this year our present PM Shri Narendra Modi has announced to have it organized in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

These kinds of events are organized all over the world to check the contribution of freedom fighters and heroes.  Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in India signifies the unforgettable role of Mahatma Gandhi for his struggle and passion for making India attain freedom from the British Rule. Mahatma Gandhi Mandir in Gandhinagar is also a venue where the upcoming VIBRANT GUJARAT SUMMIT 2015 is being held.

PBD (Pravasi Bharatiya Divas) is celebrated to know the contribution of Indian Community from across the country and the world. In 2014 the Pravasi Bharatiyta Divas was held in Delhi and was attended by 1500 people from different countries. This time this Event will held in Gandhinagar to commemorate 100th Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi who came to India in 1915 from South Africa and fought to give India her freedom. This will be a very large platform for non-resident Indians across the Globe to participate in live mega conferences and various activities of entertainment, social and economic nature.
