Sachin Tendulkar Brand Ambassador for ICC CRICKET WORLD CUP 2015 - December 2014 News

Master Blaster, Indian Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is the brand ambassador for ICC World Cup 2015. As a World Cup brand ambassador, Sachin will promote World Cup to enhance the profile of International cricket tournament.

The International Cricket Council-ICC declared Sachin Tendulkar as a brand ambassador for World Cup 2015 for the second time as he was also the Brand ambassador for world cup 2011. Sachin is not only an inspiration to cricketers but to all sportspeople for his endurance, perseverance, talent, personality and commitment to the game

Sachin Tendulkar retired from international cricket in 2013 after representing India in 200 Tests, 463 One-Days and one Twenty20 International.  Sachin played cricket successfully for 24 years and he scored a total of 34,357 international runs and 100 centuries.

ICC World Cup 2015 is jointly organized by Australia and New Zealand from 14 February 2015. Tendulkar said, “I am delighted and honored to be appointed ICC Cricket World Cup Ambassador for the second successive time. After playing in the last six editions, the upcoming World Cup will be a different experience as I will follow it from the sidelines. It could probably be comparable to the ICC Cricket World Cup 1987 where I was a ball boy, enthusiastically cheering every ball.”

In World Cup 2011, India won the World Cup after 1983 and Sachin Tendulkar was the hero of World Cup 2011. This time again Indian people are expecting World Cup trophy back to home.
