RMC Half Marathon 2016 in Rajkot Gujarat on 24 January - Date - Route - Venue

The Rajkot Half Marathon is organized by Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) and Rajkot City Police. Half Marathon will be held on 24 January 2016 and it will be of 21 Km. The main aim of the Rajkot Half Marathon 2016 is to create awareness about traffic and cleanliness.

Rajkot Half Marathon will start from Race Course Ground and will end at 150 ft Ring Road, Rajkot. So register your names now to participate in the Rajkot Half Marathon. RMC commissioner Vijay Nehra has launched a website for the Half Marathon Rajkot. Cheteshwar Arvind Pujara is the brand ambassador of Rajkot Half Marathon.

Rajkot Half Marathon 2016 Route:

Rajkot Half Marathon event will start from Rajiv Gandhi statue at Race Course ground and will go towards Mahila College, Raiya Road, KKV fly over bridge, Big Bazaar, Gondal chowkdi BRTS and returned back towards Mahila college, Kisanpara circle and will end with one round on synthetic athletic court at Race Course ground.

Shree Nehra said “The idea for the half marathon is to create awareness about traffic and cleanliness. We are expecting that over 12,000 people will participate in the event and athletes from across the country will be approached to take part in it. A cash reward totaling Rs 12 lakh will be handed out to winners in different categories”.

The aim of hosting the event is to bring the people of the city together and to create awareness among them about traffic and cleanliness. The Half Marathon participation of 21 Km has to on Sunday before marathon for the practice. There are five categories for the Rajkot Half Marathon 2016. During the marathon water and medical service will be available. There will be prize distribution for the winners.

Prize for Handicapped people is 1 Prize Rs 25 thousand, 2 Prize Rs 15 thousand and 3 Prize Rs 10 thousand in Half Marathon 2016. The brand ambassador of Rajkot Half Marathon 2016 is Cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara. Half Marathon Race in Rajkot on 24 January 2016.
