Bollywood's drama queen Mallika Sherawat said she did not mind the idea of finding her prince charming through Reality TV Show, while speaking at the launch of her debut television show, The Bachelorette India - Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika. Mallika Sherawat ka Swayamvar will rock!!
The Bachelorette India - Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika is expected to start from AUGUST 2013
"The Bachelorette India gives us a unique opportunity to partner Mallika in her quest to find true love," Ajit Thakur, general manager of Life OK, the channel that will air the show, said. Ajit Thakur, general manager of Life OK, is proud of the association with a global format and said it has many successful seasons in about 25 countries. “We are confident that the series will strengthen Life OK’s programming and set another benchmark in quality entertainment,” Ajit Thakur added.
Rahul Mahajan, Rakhi Sawant and Ratan Rajput were seen hunting for their respective partners on the reality show Swayamvar on Imagine TV. Of the three, Rahul was the lucky one to find his soul mate Dimpy on the show and they even tied the knot on the show. Now Mallika in Swayamvar also.
Mallika Sherawat - Age 36, will feature in The Bachelorette India - Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika, which will air on Life OK. It is based on American TV show The Bachelor. The show is an official remake of the American reality hit show, The Bachelor USA, which lets a single woman select the man of her choice from a pool of 30 suitors. The format will be Indianite for local taste.
"I am looking for someone who is self-made, well-educated, grounded and above all someone who can be a friend and not just a lover. I want a man who is prepared to take risks in life and ones who is not afraid to speak his mind," Mallika Sherawat said.
The Bachelorette India - Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika is expected to go on air in August 2013 on Life OK TV Channel.
