Many Indian people are living outside of India so they cannot get traditional taste of any festival but now they are celebrating festivals at their places. GSC and KPS like community groups are organizing Navratri celebration every year. They invite Indian singers and bands for traditional touch of music. They are doing all rituals like Ghantsthapna, Aarti and Garba playing. The Chicago living Indian people are also playing our traditional be-taali, teen-tali and Sanedo, dodhiya like modern garba styles with great enthusiasm. They also wear colorful dresses for Navratri. There peoples’ celebration let to know their new generation about our culture and rituals.
Now the US people are also attracted towards our Indian culture so they are also enjoying our celebrations. The US people also learns to play Garba. The US people look very cute in our traditional dresses. Our culture is becoming very popular among all. This year also the community of gujarati people will organize Navratri celebration. They are not having big open grounds to play garba so generally they are organizing this event in temple or any event hall.
