Champion Agro Ltd is a leading Agro Retail Company that has introduced the concept of Agro retail malls in Gujarat. The company had started its operations in early 1990’s with manufacturing facilities for agricultural irrigation system like Turbine Pumps, Submersible Pumps, Mono Block Pumps and Electric Motors.

In its endeavor to be a complete agriculture solutions provider, the company had introduced its own retail chain of Agribusiness centers and Agri-clinics under the brand name of “Champion Agro World”. This chain serves farmers by facilitating their all agricultural needs and provides free agricultural consultancy services ranging from sowing to harvesting of crops. The retail chain of Agro centers act as a one-stop-shop for farmers.

The company plans to scale up the existing 32 centers to 400 centers all across India & 50 centers in North India within coming 3 years along with 20 district level malls, agri excellence centers & integrated storage facilities which will become hub as well as connecting point for nearby centers.  In short, company aims to provide exhaustive services pack to the farmers and has a vision to provide a strong forward as well as backward linkage from farm to fork in the industry.

In the due course of time, the company has diversified its portfolio and ventured into processing of fresh Fruits and Vegetables with its brand “Champion Fresh” along with the contract farming and horticulture parks. The company is having its own horticulture farm in 1000 acre land for pomegranate cultivation. Apart from this the company is having 2000 acre of farm for the contract farming of baby corn. In this way, the company has utilized 1400 acre of land in the horticulture park.

A team of some 250 highly motivated and skilled professionals work under Champion brand and immersed themselves directly with the target communities.
