The Tarpa Dance Festival derives its name from the folk dance and art that belong to Tribe such as Varli, Kokna and Koli from Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The festival is dedicated to this very vibrant folk dance of the region. It is organized every year from 26th to 31st December. 

Tarpa festival is one of the most popular festivals of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The Tarpa Festival features a number of attractive events like swimming races, folk dances, painting tattoos and drawing rangolis. The festival is committed to a bright folk dance of the region. It is celebrated with a lot of interest among the tribal population of the region.
