In last 2 Years 2011-2012, Gujarat State received " Auto Manufacturing Plant in Gujarat " from Giant World Fame Automobile Companies Acorss the World.

How you can say " Automobile Hub Gujarat "  is emerge as " New Automobile Hub of India ? ?

In this Year Maruti Suzuki, TATA Nano, Hero MotoCorp has announced their giant investment plant with state of the art manufacturing facilitie in Gujarat India. 

The government of Gujarat has signed SSA or the State Support Agreement with automobile giant Maruti Suzuki for them to start their production from the state. This will make the state an automobile hub of the country. The state government has promised all the necessary help and support in order to facilitate the production.

The MoU will make the state one of the largest automobile hubs not only in India but also in the nearing subcontinent. Though many would wonder as to how a single production unit can bring about such a change. But the fact is that earlier there have been such agreements with automobile companies such as Peugot, Ford and even Tata Nano.

 Narendra Modi Government has done a great job in this regard as the step will not only be beneficial to the state in terms of generating revenue but will also provide employment to both men and women. Now, Gujarat is famous destination for Automobile Companies to set their Manufacturing Plant rather than other competetor states like West Bangal, Maharashtra etc..and truly getting develop as " New Auto Hub of India ".

 This proposed production unit with Maruti Suzuki will see the plant being completed in two phases. The chosen site is the Becharaji Mandal in Ahmedabad district. The Government has chosen the site as the area is a little backward and therefore is an ideal place for development. Such kind of engineering works contributes close to 30 per cent of the state’s GDP.  According to Mr. Shinzo Nakanishi, Maruti Suzuki Managing Director is of the opinion that both the state as well as the nation are emerging as the best markets for ever-growing automobile market.
