Dakor Krishna Temple History
Ranchhodrai is one of the many different names applied to Lord Krishna. There are many devotees comes to this Dakor. In period of Mahabharata, Dakor comprise the Hidamba van. Dank Rishi had his ashram in this part. Once God Krishna and Bhim visited Rishi’s ashram. During reparation Lord was satisfied with him and asked him to demand something.
Rishi requested him to live in his ashram permanently along with Lord Shiva. Accepting the demand, he agreed that in kaliyug after staying in Dwarika for 4225 years. He would come to live in this land permanently. Thus, Lord Krishna was invited to come to Dakor.
