Van Mahotsav 2014 in Gujarat at Khodaldham - 65th Van Mahotsav Celebration Date and Information
Leuva Patel group of people is building a wonderful temple of its community goddess Khodal named Khodaldham at Kagvad. The 65th Van Mahotsav will be celebrated at Kagwad about 60 km from the city. Hundreds of saplings will be planted at Kagwad. It will be a main attraction for people in coming days.
Van Mahotsav is celebrated as a festival of life. Van Mahotsav means the festival of trees. Union Minster for Agriculture and Food to create interest among a lot for forest protection and planting trees. It is a week-long festival and it is a celebrated on different days in India.
