Upcoming Bollywood film Piku starring Mega star Amitabh Bachchan, hot heart throb heroine Deepika Padukone and classical actor Irfan Khan is directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by MSM Motion Pictures along with Saraswati Entertainment, Creations Limited and Rising Sun Films. It is drama based Hindi film.

Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irfan Khan are the lead role in Piku film. Beside that evergreen Moushumi Chatterjee and Bengali popular actor Jishu Sengupta will play important character. After attending the trailer launch of her upcoming film Happy New Year, the actress headed to Kolkata for the shooting of her next film Piku.

Deepika Padukone will share the screen space with actor Irrfan Khan for the first time. The Lunchbox actor is playing the role of her love interest in the movie Piku.

The actress recently wrapped up the first shooting schedule of her film Tamasha in which she will be seen romancing her ex beau Ranbir Kapoor. Deepika was also spotted at the music launch of her upcoming film Finding Fanny.

This will be the second time when Amitabh Bachchan will essay the role of Deepika's father. Both played the father-daughter duo in the film Aarakshan.
