Bigg Boss Season 8 Sponsors Name - Bigg Boss 2014 Advertisers List with Title Sponsor
The Bigg boss season 8 is about to start in a few days then they need to look for their competitors. This time Bigg boss has broken their own records for sponsorships and budget. This time the title sponsorship is given by leading e-commerce firm Snapdeal.com. The deal with Snapdeal ends Colors’ five-year deal with Vodafone India Ltd for Bigg Boss. The deal is estimated to worth Rs 35 Crore.
The Bigg boss, which enjoys the primetime slot for approx. three and a half months, is all set for a huge budget of approximately Rs 150 Crore. To break even, the advertising rates for this show have been set higher than most of its counterparts and 10-second advertising spots are selling for Rs 3.5-4 lacs, which is a record in itself. Generally TV shows are getting approx. Rs 1.5 lacs. This time Colors’ has created new category called telecom sponsor.
The ‘Powered by’ sponsors are OPPO India, the Indian chain of OPPO, the global technology brand. They have entered Indian market in early 2014. The Colors team is targeting 10-11 sponsors for the show. Colors has also joined up with Maruti Suzuki as a car sponsor and TVS Motors as a associate sponsor. The associate sponsors will spend Rs 8-10 crore, while Maruti is set to spend Rs 15 crore. For sponsorships, advanced talks with six-seven other companies are underway. The channel hopes to secure Rs 140-145 crore from the sponsors alone.
