Permanent INDIAN Visa for NRI to PIO & OCI Card Holders Announced by NAREDNRA MODI
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the grand news about permanent Indian visa for NRIs while addressing more than 20,000 people at Madison Square Garden. Now non-resident Indians (NRIs) can get permanent Indian visa who are PIO and OCI card holders.
In an annoucement that brought smile on faces of People of Indian Origin(PIO) and Overseas Citizenship Indian(OCI), PM Narendra Modi said that permanent Indian visa would be soon given to PIO and OCI card holders. PM Modi also mentioned the problems faced by the PIO and OCI community.
The PIO and OCI card holders staying in India for long time need to report their position in nearer police station. When this scheme will be put in action then this problem will not occur. The UPA government had decided couple of years back to merge the cards but could not make it a reality.
PM Modi also said the Indian missions in the US would grant long term visas to US citizens and US tourists would get visa on arrival in India. The PIO and OCI scheme will be merged soon. PM Modi is given a warm welcome by USA officials and their citizens. PM Modi is on his first visit to USA and he is focusing on bringing more foreign investors to India.
PM Narendra Modi also met top corporate CEOs of USA like Google, CitiGroup, Pepsico and many. As people are having lots of expectation from PM Narendra Modi, we can hope for bright future for India.
