Google INBOX - New eMail App Service launched by Google in October 2014
The tech giant Google launched new email app service named “Inbox” on Wednesday of 29th October. This new email service allows users to organize emails and remainders and shows information such as flight booking, events and package deliveries in a user-friendly way.
Google is sending out invitations to its selected Gmail users to try out their new email service. Other users can also email the Google Company at inbox@google.com to get an invitation for new email app service. For now the new service is being provided alongside Gmail, which was launched in 2004. It will be available on the Web as well as on Android smart phones and iPhone.
The Google said the new application also enhances features that are already available in Gmail that allow users to view purchases and bank account statements grouped together. Inbox is the new way to experience Gmail. Inbox is a slightly confusing concept to wrap your head around. It works with Gmail as a service, but it's a completely separate interface. Essentially, it's a new way to think about and approach your email.
When you sign up in inbox, it will display a colorful and modern-looking collection of messages and reminders, organized by both topics and dates. Each cluster of items holds messages and reminders from a specific day or period of time. The messages are presented in what Google calls Bundles. So emails determined to be promos will all be bundled together within each cluster, for instance, as will emails determined to be related to travel, purchases, or finance. |
