New Market Yard Rajkot - Bedi Marketing Yard near Rajkot Gujarat
Bedi market yard is inaugurated by our CM Anandiben Patel on 9th November 2014. The Rajkot market yard has completed 50 years successfully and now it is transferred from Danapith to Bedi.
Bedi market yard is India’s biggest marketing yard with area of 90 acre. The agricultural products are arriving in highest amount in Rajkot market yard and highest business of agricultural products is also done from here.
The market yard chairman shri Hardevsinh Jadeja said that they had only 11 Crore Rupees at project starting but they managed unbelievable financial planning and they have not taken any big loan. The India’s biggest market yard is having all kinds of facilities for farmers, sellers and others.
There was a shortage of space in old marketing yard so due to that the products were remaining unsold for around 15 days. Now this problem will not happen. Bedi marketing yard is having 600+ different types of shops and godowns, 46 stalls for tea, water, snacks, guest house for farmers, administration office, RCC road, drinking water, Way Bridge, technological facilities and upper firing system.
The auctions for grains will be start from 17th November 2014 in new Bedi Market yard and fruit, flower, vegetables and fodder will be in old market yard. There will be income of rent around Rs 1.5 crore from old market yard. Old yard will be divided into four zones. There are private and government 12 banks are allotted space in new marketing yard.
The cost for constructing new market yard is around Rs 272 crore and now the market value of this new yard is around Rs 500 crore. |
