Police Managed Petrol Pump inaugurated at Rajkot Police Head Quarter
Gujarat CM Anandiben Patel inaugurated petrol pump which will be run by Police at police head quarter in Rajkot on 9th November 2014. This is the first ever petrol pump which will be run by police. The petrol pump is of oil company Bharat Petroleum.
In this Bharat Petroleum petrol pump opening ceremony, Police Commissioner Mohan Jha, Additional Police Commissioner K.L.N. Rao and Director of Police Housing Corporation Smt Geetha Johri were present. Rajkot police has allotted police head quarters road touch space on Jamnagar road to Bharat Petroleum Company for police welfare petrol pump. On this allotted space the Bharat Petroleum has made fully automated petrol pump with cost of Rs 92 Lac. The customers will get SMS alerts.
This new fully automated and run by police Petrol pump will be nearer to Relnagar, Bhomeshwar Plot, Parsananagar, Police Head quarter, Bhistivad, Slum quarters and other nearby area residence people. From the income of this new petrol pump, the fund will be raise for welfare of police and their families.
Bharat Petroleum is famous for its refining, marketing and expert in business exploring. The new pump at police head quarter will become standard for quality and service, said by company’s territory manager Shri Nitin Selukar and Jaydeep Vora.
On this occasion, Minister of State for Forest & Environment Mr. Govindbhai Patel, Rajkot Mayor Mrs. Rakshaben Boliya, MLAs - Mrs. Bhanuben Babariya, Mr. Bavanjibhai Metaliya, Mr. Indranilbhai Rajyaguru and others.
Gujarat Additional DGP K.K. Ojha has given permission for new six petrol pumps run by police at six places.
