The Indian opener Rohit Sharma created very excellent come back and four world records by cracking a second double hundred, scoring the highest individual score, 264, first ever to get to 250 and most boundaries, 33, in an ODI innings. The 27-year-old Indian opener smashed 9 sixes and 33 fours to register the record score in 173 deliveries against a helless Sri Lankan bowling attack. Earlier in the innings, Rohit was dropped on 4 runs by Thisara Perera at third man. But the Mumbai batsman made the best of the chance and lived up to the faith shown by the team management and the skipper himself. India won the toss and Captain VIrat Kohli chose to bat first and his decision came really fruitful.

Already India have won the series with lead of 3-0 in five match series and today Rohit Sharma’s performance will surely make India at its highest confidence level and Sri lanka as a underdog team.
