Dholera SIR of Gujarat to Develop as First Smart City in India in 2014-15

A proud and happy moment for Gujarat as Dholera is going to be developed as Smart City in India. Indian PM Narendra Modi has declared his master plan for Smart cities in India. Along with Dholera, one small village near Aurangabad in Maharashtra is also declared to be developed as a smart city.

Dholera is already undergoing for development as a Dholera SIR. The smart city development news makes double cheer up for Gujarati people and especially for Gujarati businessmen. Central Government has declared smart city project this year and in this financial year, the development of Dholera will be start as a smart city.

Government has chosen total 22 places for smart cities for development as smart city in first phase of project. The Modi government has chosen 2 cities from each state to be developed as a smart city. The central government has already started discussions with state government for smart city development.

Dholera is becoming big hub for business after undergoing developed as a SIR project. The SIR project will give income to so many workers and business located near around Dholera and Saurashtra region. The government has already allotted a budget for this smart city project in Dholera in Gujarat but tender for work will be published on 10th December 2014.

PM Modi is the most tech-savvy prime minister of India and he has started taking moves towards developing India as smart and digital country.
