Bollywood Actor John Abraham announces Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2015 in press conference held in Mumbai. The Mumbai Marathon is an annual international road running opposition over the Marathon distance that is held in Mumbai, India, each January.

John Abraham who is an actor with good sportsman is also the brand ambassador of the Mumbai Marathon event was present during the occasion to support Mumbai's most awaited annual sporting and social event ‘Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon (SCMM) 2015', which is scheduled to be held on January 18, 2015.

The day's events also include a Half Marathon race which is contested by the top-level Indian runners. There are so many Actors, businessmen, doctors and dabbawallahs, environmentalists, sportspersons including many foreigners and others joins the Mumbai Marathon every year.

John Abraham said, “The time has come, yet again, for Mumbaikars to come forward and celebrate not just the city's never-ending spirit and energy but put their best foot forward and participate in India's most esteemed marathon.  As registrations are launched for the 12th edition of the event, I urge people to sign up, train well, and Go the Distance on Race Day in January 2015.”

First Marathon was held in 2004, the Mumbai Marathon was part of the supreme race on earth an event sponsored by Standard Chartered Bank. The Greatest Race on Earth (GROE) was a four-part sequence of Marathon races in a pass on format, which included the Nairobi Marathon Singapore Marathon, Mumbai Marathon and Hong Kong Marathon.
