Hyundai to Launch IX25 New Compact Luxury SUV Car in India in 2015

Hyundai India is gearing up for the launch of i20 based crossover and much-awaited ix25 compact SUV in India in 2015. Hyundai Motors India Limited intends to price the ix25 compact SUV below Rs 10 Lacs to have direct competition with the current SUV cars likes of Renault Duster, Ford EcoSport and a soon-to-be-launched Maruti compact SUV.  

Hyundai ix25 Compact SUV Launch in India : first part of 2015

The ix25 Compact SUV in India could be powered by 83PS 1.2 liter petrol and 90PS 1.4 liter diesel engines. The petrol engine will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox while the diesel will get a 6-speed manual. Expect the top end variant to come loaded with goodies like a panoramic sunroof, LED DRLs, a touch screen multimedia system, cruise control, Keyless entry, parking camera and a whole host of safety features.

The front outlook of the compact SUV gets prominent hexagonal grille flanked by larger headlamps, muscular front bumper, large air dam and fog lamps. At the rear, the SUV gets large headlamps and hostile bumper.

The Hyundai ix25 compact SUV will also see 90 per cent of localization, which will help the company price it competitive in the market. The Hyundai India Company is planning to strengthen its compact SUV and sedan portfolio, and is planning to launch new i20 based crossover, Verna and Elantra facelift and ix25 compact SUV in 2015 after receiving an excellent response for the new Elite i20.

2015 year will be having some good budgeted cars launch in India.
