Actor Ashraf Ul Haq Passes Away in Mumbai on 17 February 2015
Actor Ashraf Ul Haq passed away in Mumbai on 17 February 2015 at the age of only 45. Ashraf was suffering from a bone marrow disease. He was in ICU for a long time was even showing signs of improvement. His sudden death has come as a rude shock to a lot of NSD (National School of Drama) pass outs who were close to Haq.
The actor, who graduated from the National School Of Drama, played many important character roles in films like Company, Jungle, Satrangee Parachute, Ravan, Deewar, Black Friday, Fukrey and many others. The actor was last seen in the film Fukrey playing the character of the drunkard who had loads of money but lived like a beggar on streets.
The actor Ashraf is survived by his wife. Bollywood actor Ashraful Haque‘s close friend and director Anurag Kashyap says that now their priority is to take care of the late actor’s wife and nine-year-old son.
Producers of Fukrey Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani today paid tribute to actor Ashraf-Ul-Haq and many other film industry people. The Assam-born actor was last seen in national award-winning film The Lost Behrupiya (2013), where he played the lead role.
