World’s First Solar Impulse 2 Plane to Land in Ahmedabad Gujarat

Recently World’s first solar powered plane touches down in Ahmedabad today. Solar Impulse 2 took off from Abu Dhabi heading east to Muscat in Oman. World’s First Solar Impulse 2 Plane to Land in Ahmedabad on 10th March, 2015.

For the First time solar powered plane is made and Solar Impulse 2 Airplane will visit Ahmedabad Gujarat. Solar Impulse 2 is very first solar powered flight around the world is underway. Solar Impulse is the only airplane of perpetual endurance able to fly day and night on solar power without a drop of fuel.

There are 17248 solar cells built into the wing to supply electric motors with renewable energy. The cells get recharged with 4 lithium batteries, which allow it to fly at night.
