Gujarat Government now Includes Video Recording of Actual property under Property Documentation

Gujarat State Government has included Video recording facility under Property documentation. The idea of video recording of property documentation will stop property scam. Land records are extremely important since land is the primary source of sustenance for a majority of population in India.

Gujarat government has come up with the idea of video recording property documentation to cop up with property cheating and land mafia. The property buyer, seller and witness would be questioned in front of the camera at the time of property documentation and that recording would be attached to Government documents in soft copy.

In the first phase implementation of video recording, the new system would be implemented in Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad like metro cities and then in Rajkot and other cities. Before this video recording idea, thumb prints and photo attachments were taken as a proof for property documentation.

Before video recording idea implementation, Gujarat Government has implemented computerized registration of land records and so that now every district has started online mutation operations. So after implementation of Video recording of actual property, it will track records for the actual property owner.
