Bharat Ratna and Padma Awards 2015 – Awardees List with Winners Name
India’s highest civilian awrd Bharat Ratna and Padma awards 2015 are given to the awardees on 30th March 2015 in New Delhi. Indian President Pranab Mukharjee conferred Bharat Ratna award to freedom fighter Madan Mohan Malaviya.
Indian President also conferred Bharat Ratna Award to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on 27 March 2015 due to his abnormal health condition. The padma awards including Padma Shri, Padma Bhushana nd Padma Vibhushan are also given to many persons for their contribution in their field. The award ceremony was held in Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on 30th March 2015.

This list comprises nine Padma Vibhushan, 20 Padma Bhushan and 75 Padma Shri awardees. 17 of them were women and equal numbers were in the category of foreigners, NRIs, PIOs and four posthumous awardees.
Freedom fighter Madan Mohan Malaviya’s family members were present at the award ceremony to receive the honour. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice-President Hamid Ansari and cabinet ministers.
