Indian Popular TV Channel Colors of Viacom18 has owned Gujarat’s channel ETV Gujarati along with its other regional channels. Now the ETV Gujarati channel will be Colors Gujarati channel from 20th April 2015. Colors Gujarati channel is all set to enthrall viewers with new design and beginning.
Most of the shows of ETV channel will be remained as it is under new name of Colors Gujarati channel. Colors is the brand of Viacom18. ETV Channel is having regional channels of ETV Gujarati, ETV Kannada, ETV Maratha, ETV Bangla and ETV Oriya.

Viacom, the American media company that shares the ownership of Viacom18 equally with India's Network18 Group, is awaiting the Foreign Investment Promotion Board's (FIPB) approval to a deal it announced earlier to buy 50% of Prism TV, which operates these five ETV channels.
