‘Gaur Hari Dastaan-The Freedom File’ movie is the biopic on freedom fighter Gour Hari Das. Anant Mahadevan’s new film is based on the life of orissa’s freedom fighter, Gaur Hari Das featuring Vinay Pathak in a lead role. The movie will premiere inBritain ahead of its India release. Through the official media source, we heard that the film will be shown at London Indian Film Festival which will be held around 16 to 23 July 2015. The upcoming movie featuring Vinay Pathak, Siddharth Jadhav, Konkana Sen Sharma, Ranvir Shorey, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Vipin Sharma along with director Ananth Narayan Mahadevan.This film was part of the Indian Panorama at the International Film Festival of India (2014) Goa, at the International Film Festival of Kerala IFFK (2014).

Ananth Narayan Mahadevan is a Director, Screen writer and actor sice the 1980s. He received the National Award (2010) for the Best Screenplay and Dialogues for the successful Marathi movie ‘Mee Sindhutai Sapkal'. The story is about, Gaur Hari Das whoworks in Khadi Kraft and lives along with his wife Kangana Sen & Son. One day when his son is unable to secure college admission for lack of a Freedom Fighter's Certificate, he feels the need to begin his identity. In the mission for this piece of paper to prove his legitimacy to his son & to the world, he begins a journey that sucks up almost his complete life.
Vinay Pathak is a great actor for the art movies and he already proved his acting talent in his various critically acclaimed movies like "Khosla Ka Ghosla”, "Bheja Fry," “Johnny Gaddaar” etc… He has also had major supporting roles in blockbusters like "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi."
