PM Narendra Modi in Dubai UAE - India Prime Minister Visits Dubai on August 2015

India’s PM Shree Narendra Modi is in the Dubai UAE tour from 17th August 2015. You will be surprised to know that Narendra Modi is the first Indian PM to visit the Gulf nation in 34 years. There is a two-day visit tour of India’s PM in Dubai. He had talks with the country’s top leaders and addressing the diaspora at the Dubai Cricket Ground in his last engagement of the day.  

India Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a rousing speech to the big crowd of Indian expatriates in Dubai, telling them leaders in the United Arab Emirates. In addition, PM Modi said India had repeatedly fallen victim to acts of terrorism and it was time global powers unite to tackle the issue. PM Narendra Modi noted that Indian mission in UAE has set up an e-migrant portal to help Indian migrant workers and an online platform 'MADAD' to assist the diaspora. 

Happy to know you that India is the UAE's second-largest trading partner and the UAE is India's third largest, behind the US and China, according to the Indian Embassy. We got the news from media sources that the visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi marks the beginning of a new and comprehensive partnership between the UAE and India in the area of technology, politically and against terrorism. UAE would also help India develop strategic petroleum reserves and will support India in our bid for a permanent seat for the UN Security Council. UAE government has agreed to allot land for a Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi.

In the welfare of diaspora in the Dubai Cricket Ground, Mr. N Modi announced a scheme for Indian expats to get financial help, including for fighting legal cases.
