Somnath Temple, the first Jyotirling among the 12 Jyotirling of Lord Shiva is situated near the western coast of India. This Holy place of Somnath Shivling Mandir is located at the Viraval port - Prabhas Pattan in Saurashtra - Gujarat. It is a tourist spot for pilgrims and tourists.

The present temple is built in the Chalukya style of temple architecture or "Kailash Mahameru Prasad" style and reflects the skill of the Sompura Salats, one of Gujarat's master masons. The main Shikhar of Temple is 15 metres in height, and it has an 8.2-metre tall flag pole at the top.
