Kadia Dungar Caves in Bharuch Near Vadodara Gujarat - History Details and Photos
Kadia Dungar Caves is located in Bharuch District near Vadodara, Gujarat. There are seven caves engraved on the mountain with a huge lion pillars in 1st and 2nd century AD. It is found that in caves Buddhist monk viharas are there.
In the foothills a piece of stupa was found. The caves are on the top of the mountain engraved of elephants and monkeys on it. Brahmi language was also seen on the caves.
