Navratri Garba 2015 presented by The GW Hindu Student Association at Marvin Center Washington USA on 24th October, 2015. You are served by free Indian food and the event will be starts from 8:30PM. You will be not charged for anything includes entry fee and Food.
Navratri is a festival popularly known as the festival of worship and dance. The word Navratri literally means nine nights in Sanskrit; Nava meaning Nine and Ratri meaning nights. During these nine nights and days, nine forms of Maa Shakti are worshipped. The nine-day festival of Navratri is held in honor of the nine manifestations of Goddess Durga.
