She was graduated in the field of computer science and starting work as software developer before turning as actress. TaapseePannu is the daughter of Dilmohan Singh Pannu and NirmaljeetPannu. She has one sister Shagunpannu and wanted to launch her sister in the acting field. She has appeared in different Indian film industries including Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam and Telugu films.
