Sairam Dave is a Gujarati Comedian and Folk Literature Artist from Gondal Village in Saurastra Region. Sairam is the one of the youngest artist who honored like this type of purashkar. He is an energetic and enthusiastic artist whose 3 hours company can escape and nurture your nervous system for 365 days anxiety.
To preserve the ancestral artistic tradition of music and poetry as passed from his father (Mr. Vishnuprasad Dave a well known Bhajnik) Sairam decided to be an artist after arming himself with a diploma in electric engineering. He was selected centre first position securing 80% in Primary Teachers' Course from District Institute of Education Training in Amreliin year 1997, then entered the arena of cultural folk art in year 1997. In a young age of 34 years he had released more than 34 different types of audio video albums on humor, folk literature and Culture.
Sairam Dave has got marvelous fame in Gujarat with release of his most successful audio album "Chaman Banega Crorepati" Respected Shri Rameshbhai Oza ('Bhaishree'), inaugurated "Sairam naa Hastaa Akshar" on 7th February 2007 which is a first unique creation in itself mingling comedy, tragedy and virtue of patriotism. In 2008 Chief Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 2nd Edition of "Sairam naa Hastaa Akshas" On the age of 32. In 2007 Gujarat Government Honored Sairam Dave with a Gujarat Guaraw Purashkar.
He is a national poet, who created ‘Gujarati Chalisa’ as well composed more than 60 songs related to Gujarat’s Pride. He has also connected to social agendas like Girl Child Education, Festivals, Environment etc..
In year 2000 All India Rajkot Center approved him as ‘B High Grade" Folk Literature Artist. Since 2000 he gave lots of performances and visited more overseas countries like Dubai, London, Kenya, Masqat, Tanzania and Abu Dhabi to spread Indian Culture and Folk merged with Humor. |
