Shree Swaminarayan Golden Temple in Vadtal Gujarat - Inauguration Ceremony in November 2015

Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Vadtal is the head quarter of Shri LaxmiNarayan Dev Gadi. There was a Golden Jubilee Ceremony of Shree Swaminarayan Madir in Vadtal on 23rd November 2015. On the Golden Jubilee Celebration, the temple was inaugurated by Golden Shikhar, kalash and Ghummat (peak area of Temple).

Famous Swaminarayan Mandir of Vadtaldham is situated Vadtal, which is a small village in the Kheda district of Gujarat, India. The temple here is in the shape of a lotus, with nine domes in the inner temple. This Golden inauguration of Swaminarayan Temple records as a first Golden temple of Gujarat. The temple is covered by Gold of around 20 kg with 4 ton copper by artist Jayeshbhai Ghanshyambhai Gadhvi. They spent more than 10 Crore to made golden shikhars, Kalash and Ghummar of Swaminarayan Temple.

The designer or maker of Golden Swaminarayan mandir from Surendranagar, Jayeshbhai Gadhvi also made a famous temple with Gold such as Shirdi Saibaba Mandir, Talgajrda Hanumanji idol and Throne of Swaminarayan temple, New Jersey. Swaminarayan Community of Valsad celebrated the inauguration of Golden Swaminarayan Temple on kartik sud baras followed by Hindu calendar. This inauguration is done by Valsad Gadi pithadhipati rakeshprasadji maharaj at 9AM, Monday. During the ceremony, the whole area was vibrant by the ‘Shree Swaminarayan’ mahamantra. Then after the priest do abhishek and annakut to the Lord Ghanshyamji Maharaj.

You can see there are lots of devotees and Swaminarayan followers making their presents in the inauguration ceremony held at Valsad Dham. This temple contains three main shrines. Among which the central shrine is consecrated by installing the idols of Shri LaxmiNarayan Dev. On the right of this, the idols of Shri Radha Krishna and on the left of Shri LaxmiNarayan Dev the idols of Shri Vasudev, Shri Dhamapita and Bhaktimata are installed.

During the ceremony, they spread 300Kg gulal from the helicopter and leave around 15000 balloons in the sky, the scene was just awesome. In addition, there were also organized sant vani (devotional speech) and cultural program by kubernagar sahjanand yuva mandal.
