Bhavnath Temple is very old temple. Bhavnath is the main place where the two festivals are celebrated every year - Lili Parikrama (Green Pradakshina or circumambulation) and Maha Shivaratri. The parikrama is celebrated by worshipping Lord Shiva’s temple at Bhavnath and people start walking on the known tracks day and night. In the month of October-November during the period of five days finishing on the full-moon day of Kartik Month “Girnar Lili Parikrama 2016” is held after hoisting of Dhaja on Bhavnath temple.
