Purushottam Maas is also known as Adhik Maas or Mal Maas. Purushottam Maas comes every 32 month in Hindu calendar or 2 to 3 Years. Purushottam Maas is called as Extra Month in Gujarati Calendar. A devotee keeps fast in Purushottam Adhik Maas. Purushottam Adhik Month is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

This year Adhik Ashadh Mas is going to start from 16th May to 13th June 2018. In Adhika Masam or Mal Maas auspicious or new work is not done like Property Purchasing, New Home Buying, Marriage, Naam Karan, Grah Pravesh etc.
