Thugs of Hindostan is an upcoming Indian Bollywood Film. It is an action adventure movie. The film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and film produced by Aditya Chopra. Thugs of Hindostan is based on the fiction novel named Confessions of a Thug (1839) of Philip Meadows Taylor.

The film features Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif in lead role. Aamir Khan plays a role of orphan child who is adopted by Amitabh Bachchan. The story of the film is set between 1790 and 1805.

This is the most expensive film of the Yash Raj Films Production. Shooting was started in June, 2017 in Malta. It is also filming in Jodhpur’s Mehrangarh Fort and Thailand.
