Karan Johar is ready to Work on His Dream Project, Multi Starrer Film Kalank

Kalank film is dream project of Karan Johar and his late father Yash Johar. They both have pre planed this film before 15 years. Now, Karan Johar is all set to work on his dream project. He has announced this film after 15 years. Kalank movie is going to be grand and huge by it’ looks.

Kalank movie comes with two popular bollywood pair to the silver screen. These pairs are Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. Kalank is also features Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. Sridevi was the first choice for the film kalank, but after her accidental death Madhuri Dixit is selected for the film. 

Epic drama Kalank is set in 1940s. Film is directed by Abhishek Varman. It is produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Dharma Productions, Fox Star Studios and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment jointly.

Shooting of the film has begun this month and set to release on 19th April, 2019 on Good Friday. Sonakshi Sinha is working with Aditya Roy Kapoor for the first time. Alia Bhatt is pairing with Varun Dhawan for fouth time. They both are seen in Student of the Year (2012), Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017). Alia is ready to work with Varun Dhawan again in Kalank.

Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt are reunited for Kalank after almost 20 years. They both are lastly seen in Mahaanta movie in 1997. They are also pairing in Saajan, Jai Devaa, Khalnayak, Sahibaan and many others. Madhuri Dixit is also seen in TotalDhamaal with Anil Kapoor.
