The Two Companies That we own
* History
Our journey commenced in 1965, with a small unit at Rajkot, Gujarat. Rajkot can be termed as an engineering hub in Gujarat, with a large number of diesel engineering and machine manufacturing units in the area.
The going had been tough due to a number of factors prevailing in the industry. However, the founders are core survivors and fighters and they struggled but fought out to be successful. They have now Two plants established in two different industrial locations at Rajkot. It is instrumental achievement to start from a very small SSI to such a huge size in a space of just 2 years.
The founder Mr. Jentibhai Patel, is a hands on man so has the know how to find solutions to the most complicated technical questions. Through the years he has developed into a strong leader of the group.
* Future
In the last 2 years, we have established strong management principles, fool proof system, and supportive technological set-up.
Now, with the above strengths, it is possible for us to scale up four to five times. We have got the manpower to do it, the vision to enlighten us and the management to carry through * our mission.
To the GPI team we would like to announce that we would be Three times our size by the next 10 years. This will be in terms of Turnover, people employed and Brand recognition.
