Gururbrahmaa gururvishnuh gururdevo Maheswarah |

Guruh-saakshaat parambrahma tasmai shrigurave namah ||

“Guru is creator Brahma; Guru is preserver Vishnu; Guru is also the

destroyer Siva and he is the source of the Absolute. I offer all my

salutations to the Guru”.
