Palolem is a beach village located in the Canacona, Goa. It is said to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa and this is the reason why people from various people come in huge numbers during holiday seasons. Most beautiful Palolem beach is largely perfect and is settled by both local fishermen and by foreign tourists who live in shacks along the beach or in the main village itself.
There are lots of Beaches in north and south Goa like Baga, Calangute, Anjuna, Sinquerim, Miramar, Dona Paula, Vagator, Morjim, Arambol beach, Palolem, Varca, Colva, Agonda, Mobor, Majorda and Benaulim Beach. With the incoming of large number of tourists every year, the village has able to manage to maintain the local and traditional customs with a few added souvenir stalls.
Palolem Beach is very famous beach and located in south Goa, white sandy and has calm curves that form a round shape where the blue warm waves of the strong Indian Ocean roll in from the open sea. The ends of the beach have rocks coming out into the sea.
The sea currents are not so fast and the sea depth increases as you go inside. It’s shallowest at the northern side of the beach. That where all the swimmers are safe to swim.
