FastForHer Campaign 2014 Launched by Leading Matrimonial Website Shaadi.com

FastForHer Campaign is launched by shaadi.com, who are leading match making website since 1996.  A few weeks back shaadi.com has launched their new initiative FastForHer campaign where they urge Indian husbands to fast for their wives or better halves on this Karvachaut.

This year Karva Chauth is on 11th Ocvtober, 2014.  In our country, the in-laws of girl are asked her to have a full day fast for her husband’s long life and prosperity on Karvachauth. The indian husbands do not need to do anything like these for their wives.

The idea of FastForHer went viral when Anupam Mittal, the founder and CEO of People Group which owns Shaadi.com, took the pledge on Twitter and nominated author Chetan Bhagat and others to follow suit. Chetan Bhagat has taken his pledge for his wife Anusha and nominated others.

Shaadi.com is trying to express the idea behind this initiative that a woman gets married and leaves her home to make another her own and in that journey makes so many innumerable silent comprimises. The FastForHer campaign asked husbands to have fast for their wives so that the wives can feel their special place in the life of her husband.

Here's What You Can Do to Make 11th October Special! Record your pledge, "Dear (Wife), I Pledge to fast for you because..." holding an empty plate and upload it to your Facebook / Twitter account with the FastForHer. And don't forget to tag two other friends whom you want to nominate."

Generally Karvachauth fast is done in UP but now many married women are having fast on karvachauth for her husband, even in Gujarat also.
