World Diabetes Day Date in India - When is World Diabetes Day Celebrated Every Year

World diabetes day is celebrated on 14 November by International Diabetes Federation in its all 230 member countries every year. Diabetes is the most growing disease in this fast life. The World Diabetes Day 2018 campaign marks the first of a three-year (2014-16) focus on healthy living and diabetes.

World Diabetes Day is Celebrated Every Year On “14 November”

World Diabetes Day is a campaign that features a new theme chosen by the International Diabetes Federation each year to address issues facing the global diabetes community.

This year's activities will particularly deal with the topic of healthy eating and its importance both in the prevention of type 2 diabetes and the effective management of diabetes to avoid complications.  The key messages of the campaign aim to raise consciousness of how the healthy choice can be the easy choice. Special focus will be placed on the importance of starting the day with a healthy breakfast.

All campaign activities will be continued to be informed by the old slogan "Diabetes: protect our future." The campaign for diabetes prevention awareness will continue to promote the importance of immediate action to protect the health and comfort of future generations and achieve meaningful outcomes for people with diabetes.
