The Indian Prime Minister unfurls India’s flag and holds a speech at the Red Fort in Old Dehli. The Indian national anthem, ‘Jana Gana Mana’, is sung and tributes are made to those who gave their lives to fight for freedom from the British. After the Flag unfurls, cultural Programs and Ceremony are held in the Capital of India. Live telecast is also available on the Government and other News Channels so that every Indian can participate to the Independence Day Celebration.
On Independance Day, Cultural Programs and Flag raising Ceremonies are celebrate in most of the Schools and organization. Children / Students march in a parade and morning march by shouting Independent quotes in group with carry the flag to remind the Indians about their leaders scarify as well awake the people for the Nation. People are gathering at common meeting / public points in the city and enjoy the Day by playing Games, eat a picnic in a park, go for the movie, flying kites, listening patriotic songs and spend a day with family and friends.
