Sundarvan is a natural discovery centre located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is actually an activity centre, which imparts Environment Education and is a part of Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India. Sundarvan regularly organizes camps and activities for children to stimulate their interest towards nature. Sundarvan is recognized as a mini zoo by Central Zoo Authority and therefore has a collection of reptiles, birds and several mammals. The Zoo attracts about 1, 00, 000 annual visitors including international tourists.

Exciting activities for children at Sundarvan:

A full day camp offered at Sundarvan is designed specifically for school going children aged between 7 to 12 years of age. It is for kids who haven’t been in any other camp or do not have much time to attend camps of longer duration. The camp includes exciting activities such as tree trail, bird trail, adventure activities, painting and other craft using all five senses. The main aim of the camp is to facilitate the kids learn in a joyful manner and therefore the activities are made interesting by the instructors. This fascinating camp is organized daily from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm at Sundarvan and attracts plenty of eager kids especially during the holiday seasons. The camp definitely offers an enthralling experience to the kids and make sure they return with a bagful of wonderful memories.

Visitors can visit Sundarvan between Tuesday and Friday 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm or between Saturday and Sunday 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
