Asian Games 2014 Indian Medal Winners Full List - Game wise Players Names from India
The Asian Games 2014, officially known as XVII Asiad was celebrated in Incheon, South Korea from 19th September to 4th October 2014, with 439 events in 36 sports and disciplines featured in the Games.
The final medal tally was led by China. India won total 57 medals including 11 gold, 10 silver and 37 bronze medals. The best thing for India was that Indian men’s hockey team won the gold medal against Pakistan and directly got place to the 2016 Summer Olympics hockey tournament.
Our President and Prime Minister congratulated all the Indian players for their performance in Asian Games. One controversy was there for our country that ace boxer Sarita Devi lost her semifinal due to partiality or match-fixing.
